Hida Craftsmanship
The main buildings of our hotel, including the Shogetsu Tower which was built in 1905, are made of wooden structures with various styles of different eras.
The creaking sound of wood can be heard as one climbs the stairs.
The slightly lowered Kamoi (gateway) and the long, narrow tatami-mat corridor with latticework windows are also distinctive features of the building.
Although this may seem unsuitable to you, we hope you will consider it as the design of our buildings.
