For those departing early, we recommend settling your bill the day before.
The building is not fully barrier-free.
Due to the renovating old wooden structures, there are steps and stairs in various places, and the buildings are connected by long corridors.
Please understand that these buildings are not particularly elderly-friendly.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire premises.
This includes the terraces and verandas in the guest rooms.
Regarding Transportation and Access from the Station
From Hida-Furukawa Station
There is a free shuttle service to “Hida-Furukawa” Station (reservation required).
Please contact us early to make arrangements.
From Hida-Takayama Station
There are taxis available from Hida-Takayama Station.
You can use the taxi stand in front of the station.
If you wish to use a taxi for your return trip, please inform the front desk so we can make a reservation in advance.
Since there are few taxis in Hida-Furukawa, please make a reservation in advance.
As a small inn, we do not provide 24-hour service.
Front desk hours are until 10:00 PM at night and from 8:00 AM in the morning.
Outside these hours, service is available only for emergencies such as sudden illness.
Sound carries in the wooden building.
The building where you will be staying dates back to 1905 (Meiji 38).
We kindly ask guests to refrain from jumping or making loud footsteps.
Please keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM.
The inn is situated in a natural environment with many insects.
As a small country inn, many insects may come around.
If you are concerned, please inform the front desk in advance.
We can provide insect repellent items as much as possible.
Regarding the use of the inn by children:
Our inn is a space designed for adults to enjoy a relaxing time. Therefore, as a general rule, we do not accept children under six.
Please note that there are areas in the design that may be dangerous for small children.
When staying with children, please ensure you keep an eye on them at all times.
We do not provide luxurious amenities:
In consideration of the environment and to minimize “disposable” items as much as possible, we only provide essential amenities.
We would appreciate it if you could use your own items or take the provided items home for multiple uses.
